You armed me with strength for battle;
    you humbled my adversaries before me.

Psalms 18:39

Our Mission

To be a bilingual education institution that guides our students to Christ; teaching them obedience, through the use of the Holy Scriptures as the reference of all knowledge, so that they can make right decisions in their role as Honduran citizens.

Our Vision

To train Honduran students worthy of their homeland who recognize that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, preparing them both spiritually and academically so that they can face the future successfully.

Our Story

In 1998, the desire arose to establish a bilingual school with Christian orientation, and came to the hand the October the agreement that authorizes Shadai School to begin work in the 1999 school year.

This desire was joined by people that we can not fail to mention among them: The
Jones Marriage and the members of the Conway Baptist Church of the State of Arkansas in United
States of America.

The school's name comes from the Hebrew word SHADAI, which means "God Almighty", motto that the
Founders wanted to announce proclaiming with Him - that God is enough to start every good
work.

With faith placed in Job 8:7, "Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be" classes began in the month February of 1999 in a suburb located in the first stage of the University Prados colony.

Starting off with 72 students, they were distributed among the grades of Kindergarten,  High School, and Elementary through fourth grade. This first year, the staff was made up of four teachers.

"And we know that the real man will have many blessings" In the year 2000, we were able to
contemplate these blessings firsthand, with doubling student enrollment reason why a
new store for this year. In view of the high student demand, and asking for the approval of God
first, that February the land was acquired in the same suburb and the construction of a school building began in order to give the students more space and comfort.

"The path of the righteous is like the morning sun,
    shining ever brighter till the full light of day" Proverbs 4:18

In the school year 2001 Tuition was doubled, teachers, work, but also blessings;
moving the school to its own building. And, with great joy and satisfaction, the first sixth-grade
graduations were held in 2002.

As God granted James when he invoked asking for blessing and extension in its territory, in
2004, the school was granted an extension in its establishments with the opening of an
annex in the Lara suburb.

In 2005, we opened our secondary school in the bilingual common cycle mode, offering our students
innovative study programs.

In 2008, God continued to show his kindness to our school, allowing us to start  the construction of our new and modern facilities, located in an area of 2 blocks of land in the Col. Loarque Sur. It is in this way that in 2009, the facilities of the Col. Lara move to this area, expanding its area and student capacity.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,

since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Colossians 3:23-24

Reward that can be enjoyed by contemplating these children learning to read, to write his name, to multiply, to communicate in the English language, to learn the departments of his country, participating in patriotic parades, gymnastics, soccer championships, camps and others, but on sharing with our second sons and daughters the love of God our LORD. It is in this way that the year 2009, the facilities of the Col. Lara move to this area, expanding its geographical coverage and student capacity. And graduating his first class of Baccalaureate in the month of November of that same year.

In the month of December of the year 2015, Shadai School inaugurates a small Library in honor of Rev. Charles Jones and Mrs. Sue Jones, who impelled the opening of our school.

Throughout the years Shadai School has been blessed  with national teachers and foreign volunteers, which has given our institution and students a plus. We also strengthen the international relations of our last year students and teaching staff visiting important cities in the USA including: Pensacola, Orlando, Washington and New York among others.

Currently, we have a large staff of highly qualified teachers and in constant national and foreign training.
Taken by the hand of God and with the assurance that He is ahead of us as a powerful giant, we will continue to contribute to our nation, giving professionals ready to integrate into society either to the workforce or to university life.
